KMCoin is the Layer 1 currency earned by players through supported servers, Steam rewards, and network block selection.

Steam blocks use stable SteamID64 identity, deterministic friend-list hashes, and Steam API activity checks before verified blocks settle through the normal KMCoin queue.
Hosted servers can collect player transactions without being trusted block producers. Unturned handles SteamID transactions, while Minecraft and Rust can continue supporting legacy player-name transactions.
Validators share signed TCP messages, compare majority queue snapshots, and process network blocks only after settlement rules are met.
KMCoin block rewards halve every 2,100,000 network blocks. Eligible KMCoin rewards can be bridged to KMC on Solana through the Player Dashboard or Solana CLI.
KMCoin is operated as a curated validator network while Steam verification, bounded state repair, bridge finality, and validator onboarding rules are tested. Public validator additions are not fully permissionless yet.
